US CUSTOMS LABORATORY

The project consists of a complete renovation of an existing steel-framed hanger building at the Long Beach Airport to house the US Customs Offices and Laboratories. A multi-level mezzanine was constructed above new offices and labs to support equipment serving the laboratory and offices. Significant façade upgrades were made to the existing building including new window openings, metal stud pop-outs, and entry trellises. New cooling towers were placed over steel-framed carports over parking spaces.
