Congratulations to MHP Principal, Kenneth O’Dell, S.E. for receiving the Honored Alumni Award from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. The Honored Alumni Award was established over 60 years ago and is the highest honor the University’s Alumni Association bestows upon Cal Poly alumni.
Ken received his B.S. in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly College of Architecture & Environmental Design in 1989 and has since remained heavily involved with the program. He has served a collective 10-plus years on the ARCE Cal Poly Department Advisory Board dating back to its renewal in 2007. The Advisory Board consists of leaders in structural engineering and the AEC industry to assist the department with advice, advocacy, access, and resources.
Ken’s contribution to the program for so many years directly reflects his commitment to inspiring the younger generation of future engineers.
