Gerardo Landeros, P.E. joined MHP Structural Engineers in 2021 as part of our Design Team where he has been integral to the Hilton Arcadia Hotel Building D project, a new 4-over-1 building due to be completed next year. In the past year, Gerardo began working with our Seismic Evaluation and Retrofit Team where his projects include Barrington Plaza, a voluntary seismic retrofit of three high-rise pre-Northridge moment frame buildings. Additionally, he is currently completing three-dimensional computer modeling and analysis for three high-rise non-ductile concrete buildings in Marina Del Rey, to develop a retrofit strategy that limits disruption of tenants, while also minimizing visual impacts to the appearance of the buildings.

In addition to managing his projects, Gerardo recently passed his exams and is now a licensed California Civil Engineer. His professional engineering licensure is strong evidence of his commitment and growth within the industry. Gerardo is most proud of the impact he has had in making buildings safe for the people who live and work in these structures. To see complex projects come to life that people can enjoy for years to come gives him a great sense of pride and accomplishment.

We are proud of the work Gerardo has done thus far and look forward to his many more years with MHP.
