Jasper Arciaga joined MHP Structural Engineers in 2001 and over the last 23 years has been a leader within our CAD-BIM group. After spending most of his career in our Long Beach office, he is now working full-time out of our San Diego office. In his role, Jasper is responsible for overseeing the quality of the projects in AutoCAD and Revit while ensuring corrections and revisions are done properly. He is dedicated to helping MHP improve the productivity of the CAD-BIM team and completes a large amount of drafting work in a timely and efficient manner.
Most recently, Jasper has completed the set of structural drawings for the Mt. San Antonio Technology & Health building project that included plans, elevations, and details. He created the 3D model using Revit, collaborated the model with other disciplines in the cloud via live linking through BIM360, and met project deadlines efficiently. He worked directly with the project managers and design engineers while applying MHP CAD-BIM standards.
Currently, he is working on the CSU Dominguez Hills Orthotics & Prosthetics building, College of the Canyons Student Housing project, as well as Jordan High School Phase 6 for the Long Beach Unified School District. Jasper is also involved in CAD-BIM best practices discussions and facilitates bi-weekly training meetings with the drafting team.
We are very pleased with Jasper’s commitment to his role over the last two decades and we look forward to his continued leadership within our CAD-BIM group!
