The project scope consisted of an engineering review to determine the structural impact proposed improvements to the 285,000 sq. ft. Pollak Library at CSU Fullerton. The proposed Pollak Library renovation was part of the California State University (CSU) Libraries of the Future (LOFT) Initiative, with a general reduction in book stacks and printed holdings was aimed at leveraging technological advances to better serve students and faculty. MHP provided preliminary design for the proposed renovation of the first, fourth, and fifth floors of the South Wing.
