The project scope consists of the modernization and seismic upgrade of the Applied Arts and Sciences building at the West Valley College campus in Saratoga, California. The building is a single story, concrete building on a sloping site with steps in the roof level. MHP utilized a performance-based evaluation and retrofit approach to design an economical seismic strengthening for the project.
