Last week the M7.8 earthquake and M7.7 aftershock that struck south-eastern Turkey near the Syrian border left tens of thousands of people without shelter in extremely cold winter conditions.
The mayor of the City of Irvine, Farrah Khan and Irvine Rotary organized a coat and blanket drive for the earthquake victims in both Turkey and Syria. MHP, Inc. Structural Engineers staff collected items and donated through Rotary Club Of Long Beach to the Irvine collection site. The response was amazing! Turkish airlines has now flown the donations to Turkey and Syria for distribution.
