With so many projects in our portfolio over the last 50 years, we are rolling out ThrowbackThursday to celebrate those memorable milestones. We are highlighting the Burbank Water & Power Service Center and Warehouse in Burbank, California to kick us off.

MHP Structural Engineers teamed up with LEO A DALY to provide the structural engineering design for the brand new 34,000 sq. ft. Service Center & Warehouse building at the facility. The project consisted of a 2-story, 19,000 sq. ft. office space with an adjacent 15,000 sq. ft. high-bay warehouse. In addition, truck-high parking canopies, photovoltaic parking canopies, and an iconic entry gate were included.

The project was completed in 2010 at $13.5 million and holds a LEED Platinum status.

Our lead engineers on the project were Principal, Kenneth O’Dell, S.E. & Associate, Project Manager, Matt Wexler, S.E.
